Visit the Sydney and Louisbourg Railway Museum and see  Nova Scotia's oldest passenger coach, built in 1881.

Lighthouse Point

 

Lighthouse Point, site of the first lighthouse in North America, home to the current lighthouse welcoming ships to the harbour and the starting point to the Lighthouse hiking trail.

Fortress of Louisbourg 

 

The Fortress of Louisbourg is a National Historic Site of Canada. What once was a 18th-century French fortress is now partially replicated  and open to the public to explore.

Louisbourg Playhouse

 

A 17th-century style theatre is the  entertainment venue in Louisbourg. With live music most nights.

Stroll down Main Street to a delicious meal at some local restaurants;  Beggars Banquet, Lobster Kettle, Grubsteak  

Fishermans's Wharf

 

Short walk to the local fish pound and boardwalk.

Originally constructed as a Methodist Parsonage at the turn of the century. The Stacey House Bed and Breakfast is located in the historical community of Louisbourg on the eastern coast of

Cape Breton Island.

Centrally located, this unique Victorian home, is decorated with antiques and collectibles. It has views of the beautiful Louisbourg Harbour and is within walking distance to the boardwalk, gift shops, restaurants and live entertainment.
